Foodie Friday: Simply Delicious Pasta Salad

Hey guys! This "recipe" is so easy and versatile you can barely call it a recipe. It's for an Italian pasta salad that the twins (who are pretty picky eaters I must say) and I have loved since our Middle School days! It's quick, easy, and sure to please even the pickiest of eaters. I like to make a big batch at the beginning of the week for everyone to munch on just whenever. Every batch I have made so far has been a little different, that's because there are endless possibilities and add-ins for this kind of thing!

All you do is throw some cooked tri-color rotini pasta in a bowl with a whole bottle of Italian dressing and whatever kinds of protein/cheese/veggies you prefer! I know it sounds to simple/good to be true, but I've heard countless people say that this is the best pasta salad they have ever tried and I'm sure it's also the easiest to make! Here's what I love:

Blondesense Pasta Salad

              Servings:8-16 Time: appx 20 min

1-2 boxes cooked tri-color pasta (depending on batch size, I'm usually somewhere in the middle)

1 bottle Olive Garden brand Italian dressing

1 handful of shredded cheese blend

1 chopped cucumber

2 chopped peppers (any color)

1 can drained corn

1 package yellow halved Sunburst tomatoes

1 can cooked shredded chicken

Throw all of these in a big bowl and stir it up! I think the recipe tastes best after it has been chilled for a few hours and the pasta has soaked up some of the Italian dressing flavors. I've listed some optional tried and true substitutes below. Feel free to experiment with your favorite add-ins!
