Emily's #1 Tip for Long, Healthy Hair
As most blondes particularly know, having bleached hair that is also long is an almost impossible feat. Well, do you want to know my favorite secret? Since I love my followers so much I will let you in on the biggest secret (or not secret) of all….BIOTIN. Biotin is a vitamin of the B complex. It is used to promote healthy hair, nails and skin! I use the maximum strength biotin linked below from Amazon. It is 10,000 mcg per tablet and comes in a bottle of 100 tablets. For a sale price of $7 that's less than ten cents per day, a small price today for long, luscious locks! When I heard about biotin three years ago, I jumped on it. I found that while taking it every day without fail I had very good results. It did take a few months to see significant length, but I am so glad I stuck it out, be patient. I am a very strong believer in this product and truly know it helps make my hair stronger, healthier and shinier!
You'll see below a picture of my hair progress so far. In the first picture I am to the left wearing a blue dress. As you notice, my hair is shoulder-length, thin, and I have shorter bangs. (Also, Mace and I were babies!) This picture was taken not long before I was introduced to biotin. The picture to the right of that one shows my hair progression as it stands today. The picture speaks for itself! I am not wearing any extensions in this picture whatsoever. All the layers that I used to have are evening out and growing, finally. Like I said, it is a long process so be patient and stay positive, you won't regret it!
